First of all, let me tell you a (very short I promise) story. When I was little, my Mum tried to teach me to knit. It was a disaster. The end.

Fast forward to last year. I lost my lovely

Hello!

Hello I am so happy to see you here! I am Debbie and I have been a craft writer for a lot of years now. I was born in Australia and originally trained as a scientist. I love that too and science fills my world every day but I I cannot image working as anything but a writer now. I live in beautiful Germany now with my husband Rob, Cocker Spaniel Daisy and our grandcat (that is a Thing) Checkmate. I love working from home and creating great content. Bags are my, well, bag and this blog is all about helping to make you a better bag maker. Because I am interested in a lot of other crafts too, you will see sprinklings of other sorts of patterns and even the odd recipe. Look around and make yourself at home.
